Are we just going to leave everyone else behind? How does one decide between cutting Internet services, or food? Being offline today is a technological suicide mission. If a person falls behind financially, technology may be among the first cuts people are forced to make. Recent reports of several school districts in California that are having approximately 10% of their students missing or unaccounted for during a typical school day during October during the Pandemic. It is a disturbing trend. Social workers and school officials are scouring the area to locate children missing from classes only to find find some homes shattered and in disarray with many families struggling to provide basic needs let alone internet services. Food and shelter make email and wireless internet services mute in comparison. Many families do not have a choice.
